Thanks for taking note of the following reminders of school policy:

If anyone other than the regularly scheduled driver is to pick up your child , you must notify the school of the change in writing. Information must be on file regarding authorization for pickup.

Please do not give verbal instructions regarding early or late pick up or alternate arrangements to the teachers in car line. All notices must be in writing.

Lunchtime is an opportunity to reinforce good nutrition and traditional table manners. Please send simple nutritious lunches-- no heat ups, high sugar foods, Lunchables, or Go-gurts.

Please send a change of clothes for your child in a labeled zip lock bag for emergencies. Please label all items. We recognize that accidents happen; however, if repeated accidents occur, parents will be called.

Keep clothes comfortable, elastic waistbands are recommended and help prevent accidents.

Skirts should be short to prevent tripping.

Shoes are to be closed-toe, rubber soled with Velcro ONLY (for safety)-- no sandals, platforms, boots, clogs, jellies, or flip-flops.

Children with contagious illness and symptoms of fever, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, nasal discharge, coughs, or rashes should remain at home. Children should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school. Parents are asked to notify the school if the child has a communicable disease. A doctor’s note will be required for those returning after such an illness.

Children should not bring toys, rocks or other play items to school.
